I tried looking in the References under Tools but it is not there either.

I tried accessing additional control from the tool box but did not see Monthview Control 6.0. 64-bit Office 2010 does not provide 64-bit versions of the Common Controls. I was told that Microsoft Monthview Control 6.0 is what i need to check from the additional control tab in the vba toolbox.

An alternative must be found for existing Microsoft Office VBA solutions that utilize these controls when the code is migrated to 64-bit Office 2010. This includes the common controls of MSComCtl (TabStrip, Toolbar, StatusBar, ProgressBar, TreeView, ListViews, ImageList, Slider, ImageComboBox) and the controls of MSComCt2 (Animation, UpDown, MonthView, DateTimePicker, FlatScrollBar). These controls were installed by previous versions of Microsoft Office and are installed by 32-bit Office 2010. However that thread was for office 2010 beta and of course i am running final released version.įound this:Native 64-bit processes in Office 2010 cannot load 32-bit binaries. I am sorry to take up your valuable time. I would really appreciate your input and ideas on this. I guess I can't find any MSCOMCTL.OCX objects, as per this link: Even when I manually select to open this control, then in the toolbox I try to add "Microsoft ProgressBar" but I cannot find it.

But I promise you:Īre present and one is registered! This is crazy.

The progress bar belongs to the Common Controls, right? Well, despite them being checked (referred to as Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0 (SP6)") the progress bar simply doesn't exist!Ĭould it be that my Excel has any security feature enabled? Or something else? I am trying to think really out of the box, here. Moreover, I cannot find any reference to "Microsoft ProgressBar" control at all, in my system! I cannot find a progress bar to add, in the tool box. I tried the "fix it" tool but resulted to nothing.
